1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how HousesDesign ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use InkView:tattoo try-on and related services (the "App").
The App helps users explore tattoo ideas, generate tattoo concepts with AI, preview tattoo placement on body photos, save or export previews, and access optional PRO subscription features.
AI tattoo previews are for inspiration and visual planning only. They are not medical, legal, safety, or professional tattoo advice. Please consult a qualified tattoo artist before using any design or placement for a real tattoo.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect or process the following categories of information:
- Photos and images you choose. You may take a photo with the camera, select an image from your photo library, use reference images, save generated images, or export tattoo preview results. Body photos, skin details, existing tattoos, or other visible personal features may be sensitive personal information.
- AI generation inputs. When you generate tattoo concepts, we may process your prompt, selected tattoo style, quick ideas, generation settings, request identifiers, and related technical metadata needed to create and return the image.
- Generated content. The App may create and display generated tattoo images, history thumbnails, preview compositions, and exported images.
- Purchase and subscription information. If you buy or restore PRO access, we may process product identifiers, subscription status, receipt validation information, expiration status, localized price information, and related App Store purchase metadata. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and Unity IAP. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- App preferences and local state. The App may store settings such as selected tattoo design, placement state, generated-history references, PRO status, subscription expiration status, remaining free generation count, disclaimer acknowledgement, and similar app state on your device.
- Technical and diagnostic data. When the App communicates with our services, standard technical data such as IP address, request time, device or app information, error logs, and security-related headers may be processed to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
3. Camera and Photo Library Access
The App requests camera access so you can capture a body photo for tattoo placement preview. The App requests photo library access so you can choose images, reference photos, or save generated/exported results.
We do not scan your entire photo library. The App only receives images that you choose to capture, select, save, or submit through the App. If you deny these permissions, the related camera, image selection, or saving features may not work.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Generate tattoo concepts and return generated images.
- Preview tattoo placement on a body photo or selected image.
- Display and manage generation history, selected designs, and exported results.
- Provide, verify, restore, and manage PRO subscription access.
- Maintain free usage limits and prevent misuse of generation services.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the App and related server services.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights where necessary.
5. Local Storage on Your Device
Some information is stored locally on your device, such as preview state, generated-history references, exported images, PRO entitlement state, remaining free generation count, and acknowledgement of important notices.
Locally stored images and app state may remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data where supported, or uninstall the App. Exported images saved to your photo library are controlled by your device and photo library settings.
6. Remote AI Processing
Some AI generation features require network processing. When you use those features, the App may send generation inputs such as prompts, style selections, generation settings, request identifiers, and generated-output instructions to our servers or AI processing providers.
Body photos are used for tattoo placement preview. If a feature clearly asks you to submit a photo or reference image for remote AI processing, that image may be uploaded and processed for that request. Please do not upload images that you do not own, do not have permission to use, or that include other people without their consent.
Our generation services may use domains under housesdesign.org and related cloud infrastructure to submit requests, process image generation, return results, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
PRO subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment information, manages billing, and provides purchase or subscription status to the App. We use Unity IAP and Apple purchase systems to start purchases, restore purchases, read product price information, and verify whether PRO access is active.
We do not collect or store your full credit card number, debit card number, or Apple ID password.
8. Sharing of Information
We may share or allow processing of information in the following limited situations:
- Service providers. We may use hosting, cloud, AI processing, security, diagnostics, and infrastructure providers to operate the App and generate results.
- Apple and Unity IAP. Subscription purchase, restore, and receipt-related information may be processed through Apple and Unity services.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers. If the App or related services are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your body photos for third-party advertising. The App is not designed to show third-party behavioral ads.
9. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing generation results, maintaining local history, supporting subscriptions, preventing abuse, troubleshooting issues, complying with legal obligations, and protecting our rights.
AI generation requests and server logs may be retained for a limited period for delivery, debugging, security, abuse prevention, and operational reliability. Backup copies may persist for a limited time before deletion through normal backup cycles.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- You can choose not to grant camera or photo library permission, though related features may not work.
- You can avoid uploading sensitive photos or images that include other people.
- You can delete locally saved exported images from your device or photo library.
- You can uninstall the App to remove most locally stored app data from your device.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
- You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights available under applicable law.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please avoid submitting highly sensitive images or information that you are not comfortable processing through the App.
12. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
13. International Processing
We and our service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your location. When we transfer or process information internationally, we take steps designed to protect it as described in this policy.
14. Privacy Policy Website
This privacy policy page may be hosted by Cloudflare Pages or another website hosting provider. The hosting provider may process standard technical data, such as IP address and request logs, to deliver the page, secure the site, and maintain reliability.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the App or on this page where appropriate.
